Update Layer automatically
For each layer you create in PlexMap, a separate switchboard is created. You can find the layer switchboard either in the main menu "Switchboard" or via the context menu that you reach at each layer tile in the main menu "Layer".
To create layers that update automatically, you can set the corresponding switchboard to "Auto Run". Now the switchboard will be executed automatically every time the input data (e.g. the depot) changes.
The time-controlled execution of a switchboard is also possible. In the corresponding menu, you can, for example, set a daily, weekly, monthly or yearly execution (see picture).
You reach the automatic and the time-controlled execution via the three-dot menu in the upper right corner of a switchboard tile in the main menu "Switchboard". Then click on "Edit Switchboard" and then on "Execution".
The already saved layer remains active until the switchboard has successfully run through. Once the switchboard has run successfully, the layer and all views that contain the layer are immediately current.
