Create a Workflow

To create a workflow, go to the main "Workflows" menu in the PlexMap backend and click the "Add" button at the bottom right.

In the now opened workflow editor you can define a title, a description, an image and a short name for your workflow in the tab "Settings".

Then, in the "Switchboard" tab, select the desired switchboard to be executed by this workflow. For this link to work, you must have defined an input and output in the selected switchboard. You can find out how this works here.

You can publish the workflow via the "Permissions" tab. You can learn how this works here.

Alternatively, from the main "Switchboard" menu in the PlexMap backend, you can click on the three-dot menu in the top-right corner of a switchboard tile and then select "Create workflow from this switchboard". In this case, a workflow is generated directly from the switchboard, which you can now find in the main "Workflows" menu and edit as described.
