How to change the brightness of 3D models in PlexMap 3D
By default, 3D models of type Mesh are displayed relatively dark in PlexMap 3D. For example, white walls tend to appear light gray.
There are two ways to brighten 3D models:
- Navigate to the settings of the layer in question in the "Layer" tab of the PlexMap backend. Under "Advanced Settings," enable the "Force Without Lighting" option. Save the layer to test the effects.
- To further increase the brightness, navigate to the settings of the view in question in the "View" tab of the PlexMap backend. Under "Tools," enable the "Allow High Dynamic Range (HDR)" option. Save the layer to test the effects.
If both options are enabled, white walls, for example, will actually be displayed as white (see: illustration using the example of the city of Linz).
